Morning Doe

Isn't it kind of Jesus how He leaves treasures everywhere? There was one morning, still in my jammies, where I went to throw a rotten carrot into the woods and saw a doe. Just standing further back in the yard, mowing our lawn quite eloquently.

She's didn't mind me much. I guess the jammies and wilted carrot gave me a non-threatening look. I was very much okay with that and of course, ran back inside to grab my camera. She was still there when I got back, even posed a few times.

I had been waiting all summer for a chance to photograph a deer, to get close enough to get some descent shots. And I didn't expect it to be on that messy morning with undesirable vegetables, that I'd find something so effortlessly beautiful.
